Bruce is an experienced information leader with a track record of successfully interpreting and applying information within organizations. He establishes information clarity and enterprise goals and objectives to enable well informed and intelligent business decisions and actions based on accurate and reliable information.
As a Chief Information Officer and senior executive he has led initiatives in international commercial/industrial insurance, healthcare, catastrophic risk analysis and post-secondary. While pursuing his passion for information and insights, he has established and managed information technology teams where he provided the vision and direction required for continuous innovation and improvement. He is also a Project Management Professional (PMP).
As a volunteer he is currently working with the Vancouver Hospice Society as a technology and operations advisor.
His son will be a second year Recreational Peewee player in the coming season. Bruce has been a Vancouver Thunderbirds Recreational league manager for 2 years and was a recipient of the Thunderbirds Manager of the Year Award for 2017. He has been asked to be a member of the newly formed Vancouver Thunderbirds Manager Support Network and is currently working on materials for that group. He has also coached soccer and worked with youth groups as a leader and instructor.
