There is nothing quite like the crisp smell in the air of a hockey arena at 6 am as the first team of the day hits the ice…until someone skates by you and you get a whiff of their equipment. Fear not! Until September 30, all Thunderbirds have the opportunity to get that “new gear smell” back for only $25 at the UBC pro shop thanks to their Sani Sport Equipment Cleaner. Just drop off your bag of gear and when you get it back 12 minutes later, you won’t be scared to unzip it!
