We are permitted by PCAHA, our district association, to register only those players who reside within our boundaries. Our draw zone is essentially the west side of Vancouver. More specifically, our boundaries run from the north end of Burrard Street to Broadway, east along Broadway to Kingsway, along Kingsway to Fraser, south along Fraser to 41st Avenue, east along 41st to Argyle, south along Argyle St. to the Fraser River.

SEE RESIDENTIAL BOUNDARY MAP

Hockey Canada Reg. F-10 States: A Branch or the Officers of Hockey Canada, as applicable, may take any disciplinary action dictated by the circumstances, against:
a) Any team found to be in violation of any Hockey Canada registration regulation, and, or;
b) Any individual found guilty of having falsified or forged any document that would make that individual eligible to play hockey in any IIHF member federation.

-- Returning players who have moved out of our boundary should contact the office to request a player movement form to give to your new association. --

UEL, UNA & UBC Residents Please note:

We have concluded our review of our University Endowment Land Policy and wanted  to advise you that the UEL fee charged in the past will be reinstated.  For those families who live in the UNA, we have reached an agreement whereby the UNA covers the surcharge for those families. We hope that those players whose families live within the UBC jurisdiction (students and faculty) will have their surcharge covered by UBC as in previous years, however, we have not received confirmation to that effect.  Therefore, you will be charged the fee and should UBC agree to reimburse we will refund you.

Families who live in the UBC or UEL will have a surcharge levied automatically on their 2011-2012 Registration.  The fee for last year which has not yet been charged is $250.00.  We also must levy the fee for the coming 2011-2012 season which is also $250.00.     Please see the attached spreadsheet which indicates which address falls within which category.

REFUND POLICY:

No refund will be issued unless a request is made IN WRITING  to VTMHA, Suite #170, 4438 West 10th Avenue, Vancouver, B.C. V6R 4R8. If a refund is requested by August 15th a full refund minus a $50.00 processing fee will be issued. Refunds requested after August 15th but before September 30th will be at 75% of the original registration fee, by October 31st at 50%, by November 30th at 25%.No refunds will be issued after November 30th EXCEPT in the event of significant injury or illness.

SIBLING POLICY:

New Players who are siblings of players registered for the coming season with VTMHA will have priority registration until the start of New Player Registration.  Please sign up on our registration waitlist  by May 1 to ensure we can email you all of the required Application Documents before the sibling deadline is over.  (Be sure to include current VTMHA sibling's name)  If you have already signed up your sibling on the online waitlist, you will be sent an email by Friday, April 15 explaining what you will need to submit to apply for Registration.   You must submit all required Application Documents to our office by May 14 before the start of New Player Registration in order to honour the sibling priority.
