One of the largest hockey associations in the province, our players range in age from 4 to 20 and play on recreational hockey teams and more competitive rep teams. We emphasize skill development, parent participation and the opportunities for players to build self-esteem, confidence and character.

We offer unique sponsorship and branding opportunities within our hockey community. Each sponsorship package is designed to get you the optimum profile for your sponsorship dollar.

 

Divisional Sponsorships (3 opportunities: Recreational, Rep, and U7/U9)
Take on a title sponsorship of a TBirds division. Potential reach and visibility for each division includes:
Recreational division: more than 39,000 people
Rep division: more than 20,000 people
U7/U9 division: more than 11,500 people

 

Summer Camps Title Sponsorship (1 opportunity)
Approximately 400+ players participate in our annual summer camps at Hillcrest.
A sponsor will be visible within the Thunderbird community through a variety of communications and onsite activations.
Members of the general public will also have the opportunity to engage with onsite activations.

 

Thunderbird Photo Day (2 opportunities)
Photo day provides a sponsor with a great opportunity to interact with all TBird members.

 

Tournament Title Sponsorship (2 opportunities)
Vancouver Thunderbirds Hockey hosts two tournaments each season.
Remembrance Day Cup - 16 U11 C teams
Family Day Winter Classic - 40+ U7 and U9 teams
Tournaments provide an opportunity to engage directly with a specific age group both within the Association as well as with visiting teams.
There are digital and onsite activation opportunities during our tournaments.

 

Tournament Element/Experience Sponsorships (multiple opportunities)
These opportunities include Player of the Game awards, team award for the 5 puck challenge winner, sportsmanship awards, etc.
These opportunities are meant to enhance the experience of the players.

 

U7 & U9 Jamboree (5 opportunities)
The Jamboree is the official kick off to the season for our U7 and U9 age groups.
