Vancouver Thunderbirds Hockey is a Non-Profit Society and branch of minor hockey on the west side of Vancouver and is one of BC's largest minor hockey associations with approximately 1000 players on 60+ teams in any given year.
Many of our teams occasionally engage a skills specialist to attend one or more ice sessions. In order to be permitted to be on the ice with a Thunderbirds team, or subsection of a team, during the hockey season, you must be approved through the BC Hockey program for Entrepreneurial or Private Instructors and Groups.
Full information on the requirements, and what you are required to do, can be found here on the BC Hockey website where you will be provided with the list of all required certifications and directions on how be become an associate member with BC Hockey for the season.
In addition, you will need to inform the Vancouver Thunderbirds office that you have submitted your application. Once it is completed and verified, we will be happy to add your name to our approved skills provider list for our coaches to select from.
