Initiation Players

Vancouver Thunderbirds Hockey is one of the few options for hockey camps for initiation aged players. We offer programs for our newest to the flock players who will be starting their first season of organized hockey this September as well as a program for our Hockey 3 and 4 players.

To register: For Thunderbirds, you can register for camps through your personal RAMP registration login. For players from other associations, please contact nbreland@vancouvertbirds.ca to register.

First year players

New Player Preparation Camp
This three day camp is specifically designed to welcome our first year players in H1, H2 or Intro to Hockey. Included in this camp will be an equipment check to ensure you have everything just right to stay safe on the ice, as well as an introduction to the world of minor hockey. It will be a great way to introduce new players to the rink, getting ready, and to show them just how much fun to expect every week once the season starts!

H3/H4

Pre-Season Training Camp
This camp is for all of our Thunderbird players to have the opportunity to prepare for the upcoming season. The focus will be on skating and puck control in a high intensity environment through a combination of drills, small area games and scrimmages.
