U11 (Atom) Players
Compete and Battle Camp (U11 and U13)
Lead instructor: Harrison Brown
The game of hockey is made up a continuous series of small area battles that take place across the entire rink. This camp is designed to teach players how to compete both with and without the puck. This program is a high tempo challenging camp set in a fun yet safe environment. Goalies are able to register for this camp.

Positioning and Scrimmage Camp
Lead Instructor: Harrison Brown
This camp is designed to help U11 players learn the skills and tactics necessary to succeed in full-ice hockey. The camp will focus on offensive and defensive individual and team tactics such as support, checking, breakouts, and zone entries. The camp will utilize high-tempo drills, small area games, and scrimmages to get players ready for the season. Goalies are able to register for this camp.

Power Skating Camp
Lead Instructor: Karen Kos
Skating is one of the most important skills in hockey. By improving your skating, you will be better able to stay in the play, allowing to get the puck more and increasing your impact on the game. Maximizing your stride and having control over your edges will truly set you apart from everyone else on the ice. If you want to ensure you are entering the season at full flight, this session is a must!
Please note, this session is appropriate for average to above average skaters.

Rep Prep Camp
This camp is designed to prepare U11 players for the speed and intensity of the rep game. Players will participate in two back to back ice sessions each day and will focus on both defensive and offensive skills to best prepare all players trying out as they will be required to play both forward and defence positions. Goalies are able to register for this camp.
Session #1: Positioning and Defensive Skills
Lead Instructor: Rick Lanz
This camp is designed to help U11 players learn the skills and tactics necessary to succeed in full-ice hockey. Former NHLer, Rick Lanz will will focus on positioning, as well as individual and team tactics specific to the defensive side of the game such as support, checking, battling and zone coverage. The camp will utilize high-tempo drills, small area games, and scrimmages to get players up to speed for tryouts.
Session #2: Shooting and Scoring
Lead Instructor: Mike Sommer
This camp is the perfect choice for the player who wants to improve their game with the puck. The camp will cover a variety of shooting and stickhandling techniques, helping players to learn new skills and elevate others. The camp will feature high-tempo drills and stations with a high number of repetitions.

Lead Instructor: Mike Todd (all instructors will have Checking Instructor Level Certifications)
Checking 101 in an introduction to body checking where players will learn to safely make and receive a body check. This camp is for players who have not previously taken a checking clinic, or who need a refresher on proper checking techniques. For players in U13, only those entering their second year of U13 play are eligible and this program will continue their learning of angling and legally playing with contact at the U13 level while introducing them to the concepts of body awareness and positioning for a safer experience on the ice.

This camp is a great way for players to taking their shooting to the next level, helping to produce more goals during the season.
This camp is for recreational and rep players focusing on individual skill of shooting.

Led by former NHLer Rick Lanz, this camp will focus on all aspects and details of the defensive game and break it down so each and every player understands what they need to do as a defenceman. We provide a fun and fast-paced program which will incorporate both the offensive and defensive sides of being a defenceman. Goalies are able to register for this camp.
This camp is for recreational and rep players - must be able to skate backwards and have ability to transition smoothly from forwards to backwards.

Checking 201 will build upon the basic principles taught in Checking 101. It is designed for players who did not play rep hockey last season or are first year U15 players entering into checking hockey for the first time but who have, at minimum, completed the Checking 101 course within the last year. This camp will teach more advanced body checking skills helping players to effectively give and take body checks in variety of situations, allowing them to safely and effectively utilize body checking to gain puck possession.
